Why this lab?
Planned building, challenges, logic and programming by age.
Minecraft becomes a creation environment: building with a plan, solving challenges with circuits and, depending on age, programming an agent with blocks or Python to build for you.
Tool: Minecraft Education (building and programming)
- 01
Plan and build with measurements and proportions
- 02
Logic with redstone circuits
- 03
Program an agent that builds and explores
- 04
Work as a team in a shared world
Lab program
3 modules, 3 projects.
Each module ends in a project the student can show off. REFERENCE PROPOSAL The academic team may adjust topics and duration.
- 1Module 1
Building with a plan
Topics
- Measurements, symmetry and coordinates
- Designing a build
- Team building challenges
- World showcase
Final project
City built as a team from a prior blueprint
- 2Module 2
Logic and circuits
Topics
- Redstone: levers, buttons and doors
- Circuits: «and», «or», «not»
- Mechanisms and traps
- Logic challenges inside the game
Final project
Mansion with secret mechanisms
- 3Module 3
Programming the agent
Topics
- Code blocks in Minecraft
- Loops and conditions with the agent

Final project
Agent that builds a structure on its own
What they take away
Projects they can show off.
- 1Team-planned city
- 2Mansion with redstone mechanisms
- 3Programmed automatic build
Live classes · maximum 12 students
This is what a class is like.
- 1
Short demonstration
The teacher shows the challenge in a few minutes.
- 2
Guided practice
The student tries it with support.
- 3
Creation
They build their own version.
- 4
Presentation
They show what they made and get feedback.
- Small groups: up to 8 students in Math and 12 in tech
- Live classes with a virtual whiteboard
- Challenge- and project-based learning
- Continuous feedback
- Responsible AI use and digital citizenship
- The teacher facilitates and challenges; they don't monopolize the screen
They'll love it if…
Is it for your child?
- Spends hours in Minecraft and wants to go further
- Loves building and inventing
- Is between 6 and 11 years old
Free trial class
In the first class…
- 1Enters a world prepared by the teacher
- 2Solves a building challenge using logic
- 3Programs the agent's first movement
Frequently asked questions
About Minecraft
Do they need to own Minecraft?
We use Minecraft Education. We'll tell you how to access it before you start. [Licenses: PENDING]
Is it just playing?
No. Every class has a challenge with a logic or programming goal; the game is the environment, not the end.
What are the classes like?
Live, by video call, in groups of up to 12 students. Every class follows the cycle: short demo, guided practice, creation and presentation.
What do they need to get started?
A computer with internet and headphones. If the lab uses specific software, we'll guide you through installing it before the first class.
How does it start?
With the free assessment: we get to know the student, place their level in Math, and recommend the path and labs based on their age and interests.
